The majority of faculty in the Biology of Aging Program consider undergraduate students majoring in biology or biomedical engineering for long-term research projects under the supervision of graduate students or postdoctoral fellows. Undergraduate students can normally receive biology credits (BISC 490) for the research. Students interested in undergraduate research training should contact the faculty members directly.

Several courses focused on the biology and physiology of aging are available to undergraduate students including: Gero 310: Physiology of Aging, BISC 461: Seminars in the Molecular and Computational Biology of Aging, BISC520/GERO519: Recent Advances in the Neurobiology and Endocrinology of Aging. Please consult the Gerontology website for additional undergraduate courses and programs on the biology of aging.
