Here at the USC Davis School of Gerontology, we are committed to improving the lives of older adults through research, education and service. We hold community engagement and interaction to be crucially important to our mission, and pride ourselves on making differences–and connections–in the “real world” as well as in the classroom. We host a number of exciting programs, activities and opportunities for community members to take part in our work, and are always excited to roll up our sleeves and get out there ourselves. Aging is perhaps the most universal of human experiences, and it is only through joining forces with our fellow humans of all walks of life and of all ages, that we can better make sense of the marvelous and sometimes mysterious gift of our shared humanity.
