Introduction<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Confidently Navigating Financial Decisions and Enhancing Financial Wellbeing in Dementia Caregiving (CONFIDENCE) Council<\/strong> was established to examine the obstacles that Latino\/Hispanic families experience with paying for the out-of-pocket financial expenses from providing assistance or care to a family member or friend living with dementia. What is the CONFIDENCE Program?<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The CONFIDENCE<\/strong> program is an online education program that will address financial hardship among low-income Latino\/Hispanic Families who provide assistance or care to a family member or friend who is living with dementia. The program will be delivered both in English and Spanish and will be delivered online and\/or by telephone.<\/p>\n

The primary objective of CONFIDENCE<\/strong> is to lower out-of-pocket spending when providing assistance or care to a family member or friend with dementia. These expenses include things like incontinence equipment, home modification, medications, and more. Members<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The CONFIDENCE<\/strong> Council is comprised of both professionals who work with the Latino population and non-professionals that are caregivers themselves.
