Postdoctoral Fellows<\/h3>\n

We are always recruiting highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to study ‘omic’ regulation of aging across vertebrate models. Postdocs will be expected to develop a project together with the PI, and independently work to carry it out.
\nCandidates should have, or will soon receive, a Ph.D. in genetics, molecular\/cellular biology, computational biology, genetics, immunology, or any other relevant subject area.<\/p>\n

Applicants should submit a cover letter<\/strong>, a resume<\/strong> and arrange to have 3 recommendation letters<\/strong> sent to Dr. Benayoun.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Graduate Students<\/h3>\n

The Benayoun Lab is committed to training graduate-level students wishing to pursue long-term careers in science. We are accepting highly motivated students to join us in studying the ‘omics’ of vertebrate aging and intervention-induced longevity.<\/p>\n

For students pursuing a PhD degree, the Benayoun lab is affiliated to the Biology of Aging PhD Program<\/a>, the Neuroscience Graduate PhD Program<\/a> and the Molecular Medicine track<\/a> of the Programs in Biomedical and Biological Sciences PhD<\/a>at USC.<\/p>\n

For students pursuing a Master’s degree, the Benayoun lab can host students from various programs, including the Master of Science in Gerontology Program (MSG)<\/a>, the Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity Program (MSNHL)<\/a>, and Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine (BMM)<\/a> at USC.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate Students<\/h3>\n

The Benayoun Lab is committed to training undergraduate students wishing to pursue long-term careers in science. We are accepting highly motivated students to join us in studying the molecular regulation of vertebrate aging. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and a resume. We recommend freshmen<\/span> or sophomores<\/span> to apply, with a biology or computer science-related major, for maximum research experience.<\/p>\n

Expect to spend a minimum of 10-15 hours\/week<\/span><\/strong> in the lab for an optimal research training experience.<\/p>\n

Due to space and resource constraints, we cannot consider the applications of students who cannot commit at least that much time to the lab.<\/p>\n
