David Clewett, a former Emotion & Cognition lab member who is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NYU has won the 2018 Cermak/Corkin Award from the Memory Disorders Society. He joins an impressive list of former winners: http://clm.utexas.edu/mdrs/postdoc-award/

The award also has special meaning for our lab as it was originally named for the late Laird Cermak, who founded the Memory Disorders Research Society in 1989, and Mara Mather’s first job was working as a research assistant for Laird Cermak, traveling around Boston to test amnesic patients.
