Former lab member Michiko Sakaki promoted to Associate Professor

After receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo, Michiko Sakaki joined the Emotion & Cognition lab as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science postdoctoral fellow and, after a few years, was promoted to Research Assistant Professor at USC. In 2013, she assumed a faculty position at the University of Reading, where she received a Marie Curie Career Integration Grant and directs the Affect & Cognition Lab in the School of Psychology & Clinical Language Sciences. She also serves as Honorary Research Fellow at the Kochi University of Technology and has received other awards including the Japanese Psychological Association International Contribution Award for Distinguished Early and Middle Career Researchers and the Faculty Output Prize from the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Reading. She recently was promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Reading. Congratulations Michiko!
