On behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter in collaboration with the Price Latino Student Association, we invite you to the Alzheimer’s Association “Know Brainer” Community Forum on Monday, November 19th at 5:30 pm in RGL 101.

Come for a presentation and discussion about the higher rates of Alzheimer’s disease among Black and Latino communities. Share your experiences with legislative officials and let’s work together to end Alzheimer’s!

Did you know that African Americans and Latinos are respectively 2 and 1.5 times more likely than whites to face Alzheimer’s disease? Additionally, women are more likely to be impacted by the disease as caregivers and as individuals living with Alzheimer’s and related dementia, making the experiences of women of color vital to the conversation.

Invited speakers include representatives from the offices of Congress members:

·       Karen Bass

·       Maxine Waters

·       Nanette Diaz Barragan

·       Jimmy Gomez

·       Lucille Royball-Allard

Limited space is available to allow for intimate conversations. If you’re interested in attending the event, please RSVP by emailing us at pricelatino.usc@gmail.com.

Monday, November 19 at 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Lewis Hall (RGL), 101
