Bobbe Akalonu, 82, moves slowly and carries a cane. Elegantly dressed with her wide-brimmed black hat, she has places to go. The LA native has spent the last six years traveling every couple of weeks to USC to learn how to best support caregivers and their loved ones.

Help us Move The Respite Bus!

Senator Janet Nguyen has introduced SB 177 to provide $3.3 to reinstate much needed respite care services to the California Caregiver Resource Center programs which includes the LA Caregiver Resource Center here at USC Family Caregiver Support Center. Now, she needs the support and voices of caregivers.
