Coming in 2017: Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity Certificate Program 

The USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology will offer an academic certificate program in nutrition. Students will explore the way we eat effects the human life span by exploring the biological, pathophysiological, psychological and sociological foundations that impact individuals and communities. The curriculum is aimed at equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide evidence-based, personalized, nutrition services that address complex medical conditions, faced by individuals across the lifespan. Students will learn about micro nutrients, macro nutrients and the role that genetics play. This course is offered completely online and student’s can work at their own pace. This certificate program is comprised of five modules and will take approximately 10 hours to complete. For more information contact May Ng at mayng@usc.edu
