Overview

Socorro Carranza has been a clinical dietitian since 2003, working in the inpatient and outpatient setting. She has worked as a diabetes program coordinator where she was involved in running the Diabetes and Nutrition Program at Glendale Memorial Hospital for over 10 years. Under her leadership the gestational diabetes program grew by more than sixty percent, making it one of the most robust programs in Southern California.  She is also the founder and CEO of Peak Nutrition Services, a company that provides online nutrition services nationally and internationally.

Socorro is passionate about education. She is the founder of Legacy Scholars, a mentorship program that serves disadvantaged youth in a small rural community in Northern California.
