Coordinator, Older Adult Systems

Job Summary
The Policy and Systems Department of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority advocates for effective policies and increased resources at the federal, state, and local levels and facilitates local planning and systems change efforts to reduce and end homelessness in Greater Los Angeles. The Older Adult Systems Coordinator represents LAHSA and its investment in the Coordinated Entry System (CES). Under the direction of the Youth Coordinated Entry System (CES) Manager, and in integral partnership with other members of LAHSA’s CES division, the Older Adult Systems Coordinator: (1) facilitates system-wide coordination of services for older adults experiencing homelessness; and (2) supports the alignment of older adult initiatives and systems of care in Los Angeles County including the Aging Network and health, mental health, housing and social support systems of care. As such, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting and enhancing the connections among older adult service providers and works in close collaboration with other system partners and will represent LAHSA and its investment in ending Older Adult homelessness.
