The CaCFC is a revitalization of the former California Task Force on Family Caregiving (2016-2019) which was established by Assembly Concurrent Resolution (ACR) 38 under, then Assemblymember, Cheryl Brown. The Task Force was a time limited collaborative of Assembly and Senate appointees who were tasked with examining issues relative to the challenges faced by family caregivers and opportunities to improve caregiver support, in order to write a report with policy recommendations to the Legislature.
