United Press International featured research by Valter Longo of the USC Leonard Davis School that found anti-aging benefits by following a “fasting-mimicking diet” at regular intervals. The study found greater benefits for overweight or obese individuals if they repeated the diet more often, under observation by a dietitian or doctor.
