The Times (UK) highlighted research by Valter Longo of the USC Leonard Davis School on the health benefits of intermittent fasting. According to Longo’s research, implementing a “fasting-mimicking” diet on a regular basis can possibly reverse the effects of aging, slow the development of cancerous cells and reverse the effects of diabetes on the pancreas.
