What do you do here at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology?
I am the Research Administrator – Pre-awards. I assist all faculty, postdocs, and students with their research grant proposal submissions. Additionally, I am the administrator for two training grants, the Multidisciplinary Research Training in Gerontology and the USC/Buck Geroscience Training Grant. I am also the Postdoc Coordinator.
How long have you worked here?
Almost 35 years.
What’s the best part of working at the school?
I find great pleasure in helping gerontology faculty with their research grant proposals. I really enjoy working with the gero faculty, staff and students.
What’s something that people might not know about you?
I love sports and especially enjoy watching USC Basketball. We have had season tickets for many years. Also, I am a quilter.
What do you love about, or look forward to, getting older?
Spending more time with my family especially my grandson, Jake. Also, I look forward to spending time in Maui…. and other beautiful places.
