Lily Reisinger, a first-year graduate student in the Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity program, hails from St. Louis, Missouri and has always loved to cook.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March, she created her own food account to highlight all the nutritious meals she makes.

“I started @longevity.rx to show my friends that you can make healthy adaptations to any cuisine and that it doesn’t have to be complicated!” USC Leonard Davis Professor Valter Longo’s book, “The Longevity Diet,” sparked Lily’s interest in the interaction between nutrition and healthspan nearly five years ago. She is excited for the opportunity to learn more about the important role of nutrition and genetics and their impact on longevity from Longo this summer.
