STAT featured a program by the USC Leonard Davis School and Kingsley Manor – a Hollywood area retirement home – that allows select gerontology students to benefit from free rent and food in exchange for living at the Manor.
Journalist Peter Bowes interviewed USC Leonard Davis School Distinguished Scholar in Residence Paul Irving for his Live Long and Master Aging (LLAMA) Podcast. In the interview, Irving explains why he considers aging, along with climate change, to be the “great challenge of the 21st century”. He also discusses the Milken Institute’s upcoming global conference, ‘Building Meaningful Lives,’ taking place in Los Angeles from April 30-May 3, 2017.

Journalist Peter Bowes interviewed Caroline Cicero for an episode of his Live Well and Master Aging podcast featuring a program where senior citizen reenact iconic scenes from famous movies. Dr.Cicero explained why this could promote longevity by focussing on aspects of life such as socialization, participation and inclusion.
